From an old black and white postcard date 4th February 1905, printed in Middlesbro. It was, posted from Preston, by a girl called Dolly, at Lark Hill House to Miss B. Hughes at the 'High School for Welsh Girls, Ashford, Middlesex'.

Wherever Dolly was schooled, her Reverend Mother was staying at Bellerive 'on account of ill health', hence the card. She also asks after the health of Gladys Fowler.
